Day 4 - our afternoon in Provins and our yummy tea...

Hello everyone,

We have had a brilliant day again. The birds of prey show was brilliant and we even had some of the stars of the show on our heads - it was awesome.

We went shopping in a French Supermarket before coming back for a scrumptious tea of snails cooked in garlic.

We had a competition to find the most random or funny thing in the supermarket and BB girls were the overall winners with a product chosen by Autumn - GO GIRL!!!!! [see photos]

Most of us tried the snails and actually quite liked them! [again....see photo evidence.]

We had a swim tonight and even managed to push Miss Fountain in the pool - all of her clothes were totally soaked but she took it in good fun and even managed to show us a handstand! It was hilarious!!!

After swimming, we went to the disco and we're now off packing our cases. Can't believe we come home tomorrow. The week has flown over but it has been truly amazing.

See you all tomorrow...

Lots of love,

The French Gang x x x x

Day 4 - our morning of activities

Hello everyone,

We are all off doing our morning activities in 3 different groups. We are doing archery, orienteering, the climbing wall and trapeze - it is brilliant and we have all had a go!

We're having lunch in the centre before heading off to Provins to watch the birds of prey show!

We've been loving the evening entertainment and it is great to be able to make new friends with the RAPS lot!

The food is great and Mrs Norton recommended that we try the Coco Pops and Rice Crispie combo for breakfast - it was lush! Miss Fountain said that we shouldn't ask for 2 cereals in the same bowl when we get home though - she is always thinking about making life easier for you parents!

The Fountain and Norton Salon has been doing a roaring trade each night- most of the girls [and Joseph] come to have a blow dry on the corridor around 10.00pm. It is great as we all get to relax while they do all the hard work!

Will blog later tonight to let you know how we enjoyed Provins and hopefully we will also get to visit a French Supermarket today too!

Bye for now - love the French Gang x x x x

we have been encouraging each other....

Day 3 - Paris

Hello everyone,

We had a great time last night doing our night time activities - the 'Have a go Show' was brilliant. We had to do lots of different activities to score points in our teams, one of them was to see how many marshmallows we could hold in our mouths for a period of time.....our BB lot were amazing at this challenge! We wonder why???

We got up early this morning as we were so excited to go to Paris - we had a decent journey in and the traffic wasn't so bad! We had 'Bus Factor' competition and the PGL staff were the judges - we all got through to the second round which is happening tomorrow - watch this space to find out who has the 'Bus Factor 2011'. We also had a party bus with some great music and we got points if we could make people laugh on other coaches. It was great!

When we arrived in Paris, we met our tour guide and she took us on a behind the scenes tour of the Eiffel Tower - WOW!!!!! We managed to get right to the top and the views were simply magnificent. The weather was good and we could see for miles.

We then went on a river boat cruise down the Seine and had the opportunity to see some more of the sights whilst relaxing - we have enjoyed this day the best so far!

When we got back to the centre, the PGL staff were so kind and said that because we had been so good [one of the best groups they have had....] we could have a double swimming session - so we were in the pool with all of the floats and pool toys for over an hour...it was FAB!!!

We have a another lovely tea and are now off doing our evening entertainment. We are really enjoying ourselves and can't believe how quickly the time is flying by!

Missing you all [when we have time]

Lots of love, the French Gang x x x x
